I’m amazed that so many people have issue with this fact ; an all knowing and all powerful God is not morally culpable for mans sin, period. Knowing what someone would do , warning them and then allowing them to make a choice is not morally binding to such a God; its actually morally fair. Its actually the ONLY way for rational beings to experientially “learn” the importance of good and bad choices. Bad choices being opposite of of God’s character. Thus God’s law is a way to define his very nature to us, a prescription of what is best for us at all times. Not a rulebook meant to keep us from having fun.
If I warn my daughter that she will fall off her bike if she doesn’t keep both hands on the bars, then I let her ride with a helmet on but without her hands on the bars right, she falls; sure; I allowed her to get hurt, but I also taught her to trust me and the importance of safety. My rules I give her are a way to define “rightness” its all she needs to worry about in a sense. I know she will rebel here and there, but she will learn valuable lessons she could never learn by just blind obedience.
God gave us a really big helmet and hes called Christ. He can never be cracked or destroyed.
I hope that we can see him for what he is and stop assuming fault with the one who has not sinned.
